100 new jobs at market leader, BCW GROUP

Local financial services company BCW Group is recruiting a further one hundred staff to cope with growing demand. The Scandinavian owned, pan-European company is seeking contact agents and telephone negotiators for its contact centre at Ridgeworth House in Worthing, with thirty jobs available immediately.

It’s a fact of life that the current economic situation has made safeguarding cash flow a bigger management challenge than ever.  Specialist financial collections agency, BCW Group is responding to demand from clients to employ another thirty contact centre staff immediately, with a further seventy jobs spread out over the next twelve months.

Key Accounts Director Emma Frost said “Financial collections is a highly sophisticated, professional service and, as UK market leader, BCW Group operates across many areas, including offering clients complex outsourcing procedures such as invoice administration, invoice purchasing, debt purchasing and debt collection.

“This activity takes place in a highly regulated, contact centre environment and we have to make sure our staff are highly trained and motivated to keep up the standards we set for our diverse client base. We put huge store on training and development and have just doubled our team of trainers as well as establishing a bespoke training centre in Worthing. We also achieved Investors in People accreditation in July this year.

“But it can’t all be about work. We’ve also invested heavily in our staff rest and breakout areas, complete with TVs and computers to allow staff to make the most of their breaks, either to socialise with colleagues or catch up with events online.”

BCW,  part of the Gothia Financial Group, employs 800 people across Europe and is the largest company of its kind in the UK following a trade merger last year. The company stresses its commitment to the Worthing operation, having just doubled its floor space and taken out a new 12 year lease on its current premises. 

The first tranche of jobs available are in telephone collections and early arrears contact.
